Holy Shit! I met Bob years ago at the Vancouver Folk Festival...he was a sweet, charming guy...I'd met him years earlier in Berkeley, Ca. when the Cheap Suit Serenaders played a local watering hole...while in Vancouver he did a concert at the Vancouver East Cultural Center...he regaled me with stories and I repaid him for his kindness with a stack of Canadian pressed Hawaiian music 78s...some of which he had never heard before...Holy Shit! I'm still in shock...RC Johnston.

Disturbing revelations, to be sure. I'll withhold judgement till something more substantial than internet comments and forum discussions are brought forth. If anyone has something more substantial I would like to know. I've already read the link above as well as the mudcat discussion. I take this discussion quite seriously and generally believe people are who they say they are, and for that reason alone I am quite suspect of at least one person's claim to know "in fact" the truth. Nonetheless, one or two other posters also appear to be legit and quite sure that this is real. There certainly seems to be plenty of reason to be concerned that something is going on here.

Sadly, with all respect to his guitar prowess, there appears to be more to Brozman's death than most of the widely circulating reports of his suicide would indicate.
